Search for University of Minnesota president down to one (from Alyssa Derby)

The University of Minnesota Board of Regents named Eric Kaler, Stony Brook University Provost, as the only finalist to become president of the University of Minnesota.
Out of four semi-finalists, two candidates withdrew to avoid having their names made public. Kaler was the only remaining candidate the board chose to invite to campus for interviews, the Minnesota Daily said.
