The Minnesota Supreme Court reversed a methamphetamine possession charge resulting from a car search due to mismatched licenses Wednesday, according to the Star Tribune.

In a 4-3 decision, the court said a search of Erika Diede's cigarette pack was unwarranted, especially because she initially refused to give permission, according to a Supreme Court opinion document.

Crow Wing County Master Gardeners dedicate many of their volunteer hours to beautification projects throughout the county. In some cases, several Master Gardeners get together to plant, weed and water at specific sites such as the Northland Arboretum in Brainerd and the Pelican Woods Cemetery and Nature Trail in Breezy Point. The flash mob sense of our event was great. People who were sitting in the lounge were very surprised at the sudden noise and dancing. I noticed some perspective families that were getting into with accepting beads and candy and watching. A 21-year-old Blaine man was arrested on charges of murder relating to drug overdose at a houseparty.

WCCO reported one dead and ten more sent to the hospital after a mass overdose Thursday.

Though no names were mentioned, it was reported that the incident occured on the 9500 block of Monroe Street NE. Police cited the substance as a legal drug known as "2 C-E" after responding to the Blaine residence just after midnight on Thursday.
